Check-Out

Below is an overview of the things to look out for when leaving. Thanks in advance and hopefully you will come back to spend your holiday in beautiful Heist-Aan-Zee!

Waste

Residual waste & glass: When you leave, you can deposit this in the underground containers in Graaf d'Ursellaan, near August Beernaerstraat, a 3-minute walk from the apartment. Please also don't forget the rubbish bags from the kitchen, toilet and bathroom. Thank you!
- Residual waste must be offered in a closed plastic bag. A Knokke-Heist waste bag is not mandatory. Depositing residual waste costs €2. Glass is free.
- Container address: Click here .
PMD & paper/cardboard: You can leave this waste in the storage room of the apartment.
Important: The waste cellar on floor -1 may not be used by tenants under any circumstances.

Keys

Please return the keys to their original place.
Did you get the key from the key box in the mailbox? Don't forget to close the box properly and turn the code back to "0000" for safety.
Did you use the key box of residence Hélène for a late arrival? Then put the keys back in the box immediately and close it properly.

Devices

Please switch off all appliances (induction cooktop, oven, TV, etc.).
Set the heating thermostat to 15 °C.
Please do not leave dirty dishes in the kitchen. If there are any dishes left, no problem: place them in the dishwasher and start the programme.
There is no need to wait for the cycle to finish, we will take care of unloading the dishwasher.

Sheets and towels

If you have rented sheets, please remove them from the beds upon check-out.
You can leave the sheets together with the used towels in the bathroom when you leave.
